Uvod
Normalne vrijednosti nakon jela:
30 min: 30-60 mg/dl (1.65-3.3 mmol/L,) [CF: 0.05551; SMI: 0.1 mmol/L]
60 min: 20-50 mg/dl (1.1-2.75 mmol/L) [CF: 0.05551; SMI: 0.1 mmol/L]
120 min: 5-15 mg/dl (0.28-0.83 mmol/L) [CF: 0.05551; SMI: 0.1 mmol/L]
180 min: stepen za vrijeme jela ili ispod

Abnormalan nalaz daje:
1.         Netolerantnost na glukozu (glucose intolerance)
2.         Šećerna bolest (diabetes mellitus)
3.         Cushing -ov sindrom (Cushing's syndrome)
4.         Akromegalija (acromegaly)
5.         Feokromocitom (pheochromocytoma)
6.         Gestacioni povišen šećer-dijabetes: za vrijeme trudnoće povišen šećer
(gestational diabetes)
